The development goals cannot be achieved comprehensively without the community’s involvement and good governance through political and institutional processes based on transparency, responsibility, accountability, participation, and responsiveness.

In 2015, the UN adopted the 2030 Agenda and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to end extreme poverty, rescue the planet and build a peaceful world while “leaving no one behind”. Although significant strides have been achieved in many areas, it will take ambitious and holistic actions to deliver the goals and address the biggest challenges in Jordan and the region, especially the lack of economic empowerment, sustainable development, social justice, and equality.
Our holistic approach is guided by the belief that effective governance and accountable institutions are important in achieving sustainable development goals. Having said that, the Auxilium mission includes supporting activities that encourage broad participation of different segments of people in social, environmental, and economic development.
